Vietsoftware Company introduced the Asianux Lite 2.1 operating system based on Intel's Moblin platform for netbook, Nettop (small desktop computer using Atom chip) and can be expanded to mobile Internet devices (MID).
The operating system has Vietnamese and English interfaces, integrated with Vietnamese percussion and some open source applications recommended by the Ministry of Information and Communications.
Asianux Lite 2.1 requires a relatively low configuration computer, including 1.6 GHz ATOM processor, 512 MB RAM and a minimum of 2GB of hard drive.
