**Iran to release seized crypto mining equipment**
About 150,000 pieces of crypto mining equipment seized by Iran's power company will be released following judicial rulings, the country's state-run news agency IRNA reported.
The equipment was confiscated by Tavanir, Iran's power distribution company, in a crackdown on illegal crypto mining that began in September. The move was prompted by concerns that the country's power grid was struggling to cope with the growing demand from crypto miners.
Some of the seized equipment has already been returned to its owners, while the rest will be released once the judicial process is complete, IRNA said.
