Ủy ban Chứng khoán và Giao dịch Hoa Kỳ (SEC) đã trì hoãn quyết định về đề xuất Bitcoin ETF của Grayscale Bitcoin Trust (GBTC) cho ngày 3 tháng 6 năm 2023.số 8.
Chủ tịch của SEC Gary Gensler đã nhắc lại sự hỗ trợ của ông vào mùa thu năm ngoái cho một loại ETF bitcoin hẹp đầu tư vào các hợp đồng tương lai thay vì chính tiền điện tử.Đầu tháng này, SEC đã đưa ra quyết định về đề xuất của Nydig, về Bitcoin ETF tại chỗ cũng như các quỹ ETF từ Valkryie, thang độ lớn và bitwise.

**SEC Delays Decision on Grayscale Bitcoin ETF, Approves Teucrium Futures Fund**
The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has delayed its decision on Grayscale Bitcoin Trust’s (GBTC) spot bitcoin ETF proposal to June 3, 2023. In a separate filing, the regulator said it’s delaying its decision on the Teucrium Bitcoin Futures Fund to April 8.
SEC Chairman Gary Gensler reiterated his support last autumn for a narrow class of bitcoin ETFs investing in futures contracts rather than the cryptocurrency itself. Earlier this month the SEC put off a decision on NYDIG’s proposal for a spot bitcoin ETF as well as ETFs from Valkryie, Grayscale and Bitwise.
The regulator has also rejected spot bitcoin ETF proposals from a number of investment companies, including VanEck, WisdomTree and Kryptoin.
Grayscale is owned by Digital Currency Group, the parent company of CoinDesk.
