At MWC, Nokia only brought cheap phones to the market. The company said it would continue to focus on this segment.
Nokia does not develop new technologies that are temporary and very flashy. The company focuses on 2.5G instead of trying to compete on 5G stage with big brands.
Users are very interested in the phone with an affordable price, not using outdated software and always receiving security patches. This is why Nokia thinks that the use of Android One and Android Go is more important than supporting 5G.
Nokia 4.2 is a typical example. The phone only costs 200 USD but is equipped with a 5.7-inch screen, Snapdragon 439 processor, with two versions: 2 GB RAM + ROM 16GB and 3 GB RAM + 32G ROM (with microSD card support), 3,000 mAh battery capacity.
The phone has a fingerprint sensor on the back and a few interesting buttons. The power button on the right side contains the surrounding LED to display the status notification.
