The Italian club is the reigning Serie A champion and is ranked second in the world for the number of fans, with an estimated 60 million supporters.
Giorgio Ricci, Juventus' chief revenue officer and head of global partnerships and revenue, commented on the partnership in a press release, saying:
"At the club, we are always very attentive and proactive towards innovation and new technologies. We believe that we can bring new opportunities for our global fans to support and connect with their favorite club."
Football clubs have been increasingly "dabbling" in the cryptocurrency industry over the past year, with a number of clubs in the UK signing sponsorship deals and integrating blockchain technology into their future strategies.
A product of a partnership with crypto-fiat exchange eToro has not yet been officially confirmed.
Alexandre Dreyfus, CEO of Socios, said that he is "very bullish" on the potential of cryptocurrencies, and forecasts that the company's partnerships will "inject another $300 million into the sports economy" over the next few years.
