Google just released a video from their developer conference, Google I/O 2016, that shows off a new feature for Chrome OS: the ability to run Android apps.
In the video, a Google representative demonstrates how to install an Android app from the Play Store on a Chromebook. Once the app is installed, it appears in the Chrome OS launcher and can be opened like any other app.
The representative also shows how to share files between Android apps and Chrome OS apps, and how to play Android games on a Chromebook.
This new feature is expected to be available in the next few months.
