**How to enable Always On Display on Galaxy devices running Android 7**
**Recently, a programmer on the XDA Developer forum shared a way to "unlock" the Always On feature for old Galaxy devices but on the condition that it must run on Android 7 operating system.**
The device has been on Android 7 recently can do it, including the Galaxy J7 Prime.
**Here's how to do it:**
1. Download the APK file from [here](https://drive.google.com/file/d/1_--1926-98314-3436-9584-911811600413/view?usp=sharing) or [here](https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/samsung-electronics-co-ltd/always-on-display-samsung-galaxy/always-on-display-samsung-galaxy-6-0-00-3-release/).
2. Install the application.
3. Go to **Settings > Display > Always on Display**.
4. Activate Always On mode and press the back button to return to the **Set screen of Always On**.
5. Here, you switch to the **ON button** and activate **Schedule**.
6. Turn off the screen and enjoy the results.
**Note:** Currently this application is not a complete and backlog of some serious errors such as causing battery drain, burning screen if used for a long time.
