**Cowen & Co.** has hired two veterans of the cryptocurrency industry to bolster its digital asset division, the company announced Wednesday.
**Eric Demuth**, who previously served as head of trading at **BitMEX**, has joined Cowen as a managing director and head of digital asset trading. **Chase Campbell**, who previously worked as an institutional sales associate at **Coinbase**, has joined Cowen as a vice president of digital asset sales.
"Cowen Digital is actively hiring and expanding our team in a strategic build over the next five years," said **Eric Rose**, Cowen's managing director and head of Cowen Digital Execution. "Despite recent volatility in the sector, we continue to see growth and investment opportunities for the long-term," he added.
Cowen's two additions come after the bank unveiled its digital asset division this year to offer full-service trade execution and custom solutions for institutional clients.
