Yuga Labs was sued by artist NFT Ryder Ripps for "imitating" and selling NFT collections released by Yuga Labs as well as devaluation of the original products of the project. Bored ape Yacht Club (Bayc).
The California Federal Court ruled that the founders of Yuga Labs, Wylie Aronow and Greg Solano, did not meet the requirements of becoming the main witness and thus being deprived of the right to testify.
On January 9, Ryder Ripps, who was defended in the lawsuit, said Mr. Wylie Aronow did not attend the trial.
