In a recent update to Chromium on Windows - a version of Chrome used to test new features - engineers discovered that Google Now has been added and is waiting to be activated.
The code inside Chromium is titled "Perform Google Now notifications in Chrome," suggesting that Google Now will soon be officially launched with a new update to the Chrome browser on Windows and integrated into the Chrome OS operating system.
If this happens, it will bring together notifications on phones and desktops, so that your computer can also display information cards (Google Now Cards) similar to your phone.
