**CI Global launches Bitcoin ETF, set to begin trading on TSX Tuesday**
TORONTO, March 7, 2022 /CNW/ - CI Global Asset Management (“CI GAM”), an asset management business of CI Financial Corp. (“CI”), today announced that it has launched the CI Galaxy Bitcoin ETF (ticker: BTCX). BTCX is expected to begin trading on the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX) on Tuesday, March 8, 2022, subject to approval from the TSX.
BTCX will give investors exposure to bitcoin by investing directly in the cryptocurrency with holdings priced using the Bloomberg Galaxy Bitcoin Index. The listing, if approved, would make BTCX the third bitcoin ETF in North America.
