**EEA Appoints Ron Resnick as First Executive Director**
The Enterprise Ethereum Alliance (EEA) has appointed Ron Resnick as its first executive director.
Resnick, who previously served as CEO of the Air Fuel Alliance, brings more than 25 years of experience in technical, financial, and business development to the role.
In his new role, Resnick will be responsible for building out the EEA organization, engaging with members, and fostering the continued development of technical content.
“Ron’s appointment as our first executive director is a major milestone for the EEA,” said Julio Faura, chairman of the EEA board. “He brings a wealth of experience and leadership to the role, and I am confident that he will help us to achieve our mission of driving the adoption of Ethereum in the enterprise.”
Resnick said that he is excited to join the EEA and help to further develop Ethereum-based technology.
“My focus is to drive the further development of Ethereum-based technology best practices, open standards, and open-source reference architectures to evolve Ethereum into an enterprise-grade technology,” he said.
As one of his first acts for the group, Resnick will be hosting an e-event at the upcoming World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, on January 23.
More than 50 companies have joined the EEA in the past three months, including Hewlett Packard, the Australian Digital Commerce Association, and Sberbank.
