**BTC mining revenue increased by 6% in July to $300 million**
According to Coin Metrics, BTC mining companies generated an estimated revenue of $300 million in July, up 6% from $281 million in June. This is the first month of growth since April.
The increase in revenue is attributed to the rising transaction fee and Mempool size. The Mempool Bitcoin – a warehouse of verified transactions that should be put into new blocks by miners – increased by 11,000% from July 1. The average daily fee increased by 300% since the end of June, according to Coin Metrics data.
The increase in revenue in July also coincides with the development of cryptocurrency mining companies during this period.
