**Animoca Brands to develop a play-to-earn game with Bored Ape Yacht Club**
Animoca Brands, the company behind The Sandbox (SAND) and a number of other blockchain games, has announced a partnership with Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) to develop a new play-to-earn game.
BAYC is a collection of 10,000 NFT apes that has become one of the most popular NFT projects in the world. The project is also set to release its own token next year.
The details of the new game have not yet been revealed, but Animoca Brands said that it will be released in the second quarter of 2022 and will feature a play-to-earn mechanic.
