“Just missed that we’ll be launching the Singapore fiat exchange beta on 18th Sep, in just 3 days. How exciting!”
According to Finance Magnates, CZ first revealed plans to launch a fiat exchange while speaking at a recent blockchain event organized by Cumberland, a company specializing in cryptocurrency assets. The conference was also attended by industry heavyweight Tyler Winklevoss, co-founder and CEO of Gemini exchange.
While there are not many details available, the Singapore crypto-fiat exchange is likely to support the Singapore dollar, Finance Magnates notes.
In mid-July, Singapore was ranked third in terms of ICO-friendliness and the number of leading ICO projects globally.
