The company, which was founded in 2018, plans to use the new funds to launch a crypto card in conjunction with Visa in October, while it works on decentralized finance (DeFi) lending, borrowing and trading products.
Lemon Cash has raised a total of $13.1 million to date. The company’s previous funding rounds were led by Draper University and Draper Cygnus.
The company has 35 employees and plans to double its staff this year, mainly in Argentina.
