**Lifelock's Dysfunctional Management Squandered the Success of its Acquired Company, Xapo**
In a new cross-complaint filed in California federal court, Xapo CEO Wences Casares alleges that Lifelock's "highly dysfunctional management" destroyed the value of Xapo after Lifelock acquired the digital wallet company in 2013.
Casares claims that Lifelock's management team was "adept at corporate infighting and bureaucracy," and "ultimately unwilling to support the innovative Lemon team that it had acquired, or to permit that team to be led by Casares without interference."
As a result of Lifelock's mismanagement, Xapo's software and intellectual property was "developed by Lemon employees, in Lemon's facilities, using its computers and its resources," Casares alleges.
Casares is seeking damages and a jury trial.
