Voyager Digital will continue to hold a $5 million deposit from FTX pending the outcome of a lawsuit filed by Alameda Research, the company said in a court filing Wednesday.
Alameda is seeking to recover $445.8 million in damages from Voyager, alleging that the crypto lender failed to repay a loan made by Alameda.
Voyager filed for bankruptcy protection last month after it was unable to meet its financial obligations to its customers.
In its Wednesday filing, Voyager said that it will continue to hold the $5 million deposit from FTX without using or distributing it.
The company said that it is in discussions with FTX about the possibility of selling its assets to FTX's U.S. arm.
A hearing on the proposed sale is scheduled for July 18.
