"I use stablecoins, but I don't hodl them because they're a negative to Bitcoin. Any strategy that doesn't include HODLing Bitcoin is taking on a huge risk of missing out on a major upside," he said.
Despite the concerns about Tether, the Bloomberg report still sees a bright future for Bitcoin. The report predicts that Bitcoin will increase 10-fold from its current price to $100,000 by 2025, thanks to its limited supply and increasing demand.
"Bitcoin will likely continue to appreciate with increasing demand, but at a slower and steadier pace," the report said. "However, the overall metrics of adoption and demand suggest that the asset is still in a growth phase."
