**Valkyrie Bitcoin ETF Files New Filings with SEC, Names Coinbase as Trading Partner**
Valkyrie Bitcoin ETF, a proposed exchange-traded fund that would track the price of Bitcoin, filed new paperwork with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on Wednesday. The filing names Coinbase as the ETF's trading partner.
In the filing, Valkyrie said that Nasdaq, the exchange it would use to list the ETF, "executed a term sheet" with Coinbase, which Valkyrie said is the "largest United States-based spot trading platform for Bitcoin."
The filing also comes after BlackRock and Fidelity filed renewed paperwork last week for their own Bitcoin ETFs. BlackRock first filed an application for its Bitcoin ETF in January 2021. It refiled paperwork with the SEC on June 21, naming Nasdaq as its chosen exchange and changing its ticker symbol to $BRRR.
Valkyrie already has a Bitcoin futures ETF listed on the Nasdaq, which was approved in May 2022.
