The campaign, called "Hope," allows visitors to the UNICEF website to select how much processing power they want to contribute to the mining process. The longer they stay on the site, the more cryptocurrency is mined.
**UNICEF says that mining is perfectly safe for your computer and that any cryptocurrency mined is turned into fiat currency and donated to the organization to be used for life-saving supplies, such as drinking water, food, and vaccines.**
