The Ukrainian government has announced the creation of a working group to regulate the cryptocurrency market and consider creating its own digital currency.
The working group will be composed of officials from bodies including the National Bank of Ukraine, the Ministry of Finance, the National Securities and Stock Market Commission and the National Police.
The group will determine which authorities will have jurisdiction over the domestic crypto market and create a system for collecting and taxing cryptocurrency trades.
