TRON Accelerator Program for DApp Developers Launched
Following the acquisition of P2P BitTorrent data sharing service, Atlas project, and Poppy payment application, TRON announced the TRON Accelerator Program for DApp developers. The program aims to onboard customers to the TRON ecosystem through its suite of blockchain technologies. TRON’s protocol currently processes over 1 million transactions and 600,000 e-wallets.
Startups will accept program registration in December, and the winners will be announced in January next year.
In October, TRON and China’s largest search service provider Baidu announced a partnership to utilize Baidu’s cloud computing resources. The partnership between the two companies focuses on buying and using Baidu’s basic cloud computing resources rather than connecting at “Blockchain business.”
Also in October, TRON CEO Justin Sun declared that the latest update of TRON will beat Ethereum in terms of speed and EOS in terms of cost. The update includes the deployment of Virtual Machine (VM), allowing developers to pilot smart contracts before moving to TRON’s Mainnet.
