**SDX set to go live by end of month**
Switzerland's digital exchange, SDX, is set to go live by the end of this month, according to a source familiar with the matter.
SDX, which is owned by SIX Group, has been in development for several years and has been granted regulatory approval from the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority (FINMA).
The exchange will offer a platform for trading, clearing and settlement of digital assets, such as cryptocurrencies.
In August, SDX announced that David Newns from State Street would take over as CEO after Tim Grant, formerly of R3 Innovation Lab, left to join Galaxy Digital.
The SDX project was originally led by Martin Halblaub, who quit in 2019 over strategic differences.
