CoinShares, a digital asset management firm, saw its assets under management (AUM) decline by 33% to $3 billion at the end of June, from $4.5 billion at the end of last year.
The company attributed the decline to the volatility in the cryptocurrency market, which saw bitcoin and ethereum prices reach all-time highs in April and May 2021, respectively, before falling sharply in June.
CoinShares began trading on the Nasdaq First North Growth Market in March following a public offering that raised $17.8 million.
