Bitnomial, a Commodity Futures Trading Commission-regulated derivatives market, has raised $11.6 million in a Series A funding round led by Electric Capital.
The round also included participation from Jump Capital and existing investors Bain Capital Ventures and Castle Island Ventures.
Bitnomial plans to use the funds to expand its market infrastructure, employee base, and product offering.
