**Telegram asks court to clarify if US ban on its token sale applies to non-US investors**
**The US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has won a preliminary injunction against Telegram, ordering the company to halt its plans to launch its TON blockchain and sell its Gram tokens.**
**However, Telegram is still waiting for a more detailed order prescribing what exactly it can and cannot do as it prepares to launch its blockchain and investors await.**
**In a letter to Judge Castel on Friday, the company’s lawyer, Alexander Drylewski, asked the court to clarify if the ban applies to non-US investors in TON.**
