**Capital Group's Private Equity Arm Invests in MicroStrategy**
Capital Group's private equity arm, Capital International Investors (CII), has invested in MicroStrategy, a company that holds more than 105,000 bitcoin.
The investment was made through a private placement of $500 million in convertible senior notes. The notes mature in 2027 and carry an interest rate of 0.75%.
CII's investment provides the firm with indirect exposure to MicroStrategy's bitcoin reserves. MicroStrategy's share price is down 6.3% over a 24-hour period at a closing price of $588 and is down roughly 55% from its peak of $1,315 on Feb. 9.
