**Bank of America Joins Partior Blockchain Network to Facilitate Instant Euro Payments**
Bank of America (BAC) has joined the Partior blockchain network, which aims to enable instant euro payments between financial institutions. The bank will become a "founding shareholder" in the network and will serve as the first euro settlement provider for the platform.
Partior was formed by JPMorgan Chase (JPM), DBS Bank (DBS), and Temasek last year with the goal of developing a new payments rail that harnesses blockchain and smart contracts to allow instantaneous settlement between financial institutions.
The network is currently in a pilot phase and is expected to go live in early 2023.
