South Korean authorities have issued arrest warrants for the co-founders of Terraform Labs, the company behind the TerraUSD (UST) stablecoin that collapsed earlier this month.
The warrants were issued for Do Kwon, the CEO of Terraform Labs, and Daniel Shin, the company's co-founder. The two men are wanted on charges of fraud and market manipulation.
South Korea's Ministry of Foreign Affairs has also ordered the other five directors of Terraform Labs to return their passports.
The move comes after the Seoul Southern District Prosecutors' Office for Financial and Securities Crimes requested that the six individuals' passports be invalidated.
As it usually takes a month for a passport to be invalidated, the prosecutors are likely to pressure the six individuals to return their passports before that time lapses.
South Korea's Ministry of Foreign Affairs did not immediately respond to CoinDesk's request for comment, while a Terraform Labs spokesperson declined to comment.
