Chỉ USDC của Circle hiện được MAS cấp phép để hoạt động tại Singapore.

**Singapore Announces Stablecoin Regulations**
The Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) has announced a set of regulations for stablecoins, which are pegged to fiat currencies. The regulations require stablecoin issuers to meet certain requirements in terms of stability, capital, convertibility, and transparency.
Some of the key requirements include:
* Stablecoin issuers must be able to redeem stablecoins for fiat currency within five working days.
* Stablecoin issuers must disclose public audit results.
* Stablecoin issuers must maintain a reserve of assets that is at least 100% of the value of the stablecoins in circulation.
* Stablecoin issuers must maintain a minimum base capital of $1 million or half of their annual operating costs.
Only Circle's USDC is currently licensed by MAS to operate in Singapore.
MAS said in a statement: "When managed to maintain such value stability, stablecoins can act as a reliable means of exchange for innovative products and services, including the purchase and sale of digital assets on-chain."
The announcement of Singapore's stablecoin regulations comes as the US House of Representatives is also considering legislation to regulate stablecoins. The bill is currently being voted on by the majority of Senators, and the next voting session will take place in September.
Singapore has been actively taking steps to regulate cryptocurrencies. In late 2022, the island nation also conducted a public consultation on advanced measures to protect consumers, which was initiated just one month before the collapse of FTX.
