SEC cũng đã nhắc lại rằng tất cả các loại tiền điện tử khác không được coi là đấu thầu hợp pháp ở Thái Lan.

, Thailand's Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has announced that it has approved three new cryptocurrencies for use in initial coin offerings (ICOs) and other investment activities.
The three cryptocurrencies are Bitcoin Cash (BCH), Ethereum Classic (ETC), and Litecoin (LTC).
With this latest decision, a total of seven cryptocurrencies are now approved for use in Thailand. The other four are Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Ripple (XRP), and Stellar (XLM).
The SEC has also reiterated that all other cryptocurrencies are not considered legal tender in Thailand.
In other news, Thailand's National Legislative Council last week passed a bill for the amendment of the Securities and Exchange Act, which opens the door for the issuance of tokenized securities on the blockchain.
Additionally, the National Center for Computer and Electronics Technology (Nectec) announced in January that it had developed a blockchain application for online voting. Nectec said that once 5G technology is widely available in Thailand, all election activities will be conducted using this application.
