**Ripple plans to go public after lawsuit with SEC ends**
Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse and executive chairman Chris Larsen are planning to take the company public, according to SBI Group CEO Yoshitaka Kitao.
Kitao said that SBI Group's investment in Ripple will pay off after the company goes public. SBI Group is Ripple's largest external shareholder.
Kitao added that R3 Blockchain Group, another industry in the industry that SBI actively supports, will also be listed in the near future.
