Mubadala Investment Co., one of the largest wealth funds in the United Arab Emirates and the world, is investing in the crypto ecosystem, its CEO said on Tuesday.
"We are investing in the ecosystem around crypto, be it blockchain, energy usage," Khaldoon Al Mubarak said at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.
He added that the evolving regulatory environment will help crypto transition into something new.
Mubadala has AED 894 billion (US$243 billion) in assets under management.
