The Merge is the most important upgrade in Ethereum history, scheduled to take place around noon - early afternoon of September 15, 2022 (Vietnam time). After the Merge, Ethereum will switch from the Proof-of-Work (PoW) mechanism to the Proof-of-Stake (PoS) mechanism.
Ethermine is the world's largest Ethereum mining pool, accounting for more than 27% of Ethereum's hashrate. The pool has announced that it will no longer support ETH mining after the Merge. This means that users will no longer be able to use Ethermine to mine ETH.
However, users can still use Ethermine to mine other cryptocurrencies, such as Ethereum Classic (ETC), Ravencoin (RVN), ERGO, and Beam.
