**Albania arrests Turkish fugitive Osman Özer**
Albanian Minister of Internal Affairs Bledar Çuçi has confirmed that Turkish fugitive Osman Özer has been arrested in Vlora.
Çuçi told his Turkish counterpart that Özer had been arrested in Vlora and his identity was confirmed by biometric results. Proceedings for his extradition have begun.
Özer is wanted in Turkey on charges of murder, kidnapping and extortion. He is alleged to be a member of the Gülen movement, which is accused by Ankara of orchestrating a failed coup in 2016.
The arrest comes amid a diplomatic row between Albania and Turkey, which has accused Tirana of harbouring Gülen supporters.
