The bank has reached an agreement with Conio, a Fintech company that specializes in providing cryptocurrency management solutions for customers.
Banca Generali says that the purpose of the agreement is not to launch a cryptocurrency exchange, but instead to deploy cryptocurrency services "using coino as a wallet".
The bank will also invest $14 million in equity of Conio to support the development of this company.
