Ripple has launched a new developer platform called Xpring.io, which aims to allow both crypto and non-crypto developers to integrate payments into any mobile application.
The platform provides a wallet, new tools, technical documentation, and customer support for XRP.
The new platform was first introduced in October, but the company needed an additional two months to complete the features for user accounts that are associated with the platform.
"It will be the developer's one-stop shop to manage everything they need to integrate payments into their apps," said Ethan Beard, head of Xpring.
Xpring said that the platform's software development kit (SDK) used to contain 100 command lines, but it has now been condensed to just 21 lines.
The foundation is now a new pillar for Xpring, which has been operating as a branch of Ripple for more than a year. The goal of the platform is to build a network of companies and create use cases for XRP worldwide.
This project is currently targeting and developing developer facilities for the cryptocurrency space.
With this wallet, which is currently available on the XRP testnet, developers can create and manage accounts, view balances, send and receive cryptocurrencies, and manage transaction history.
