**OpenSea integrates Layer-2 Polygon into its Seaport protocol**
OpenSea announced yesterday that it has integrated Layer-2 Polygon into its Seaport protocol.
"Starting today, we will begin using Seaport for all listings on Polygon."
As Tricksmmo reported in June, OpenSea is migrating to the new NFT platform developed by the project to improve the quality of transactions, Seaport. This is an open-source marketplace protocol audited by OpenZeppelin and Trail of Bits. At the time, OpenSea said that switching to Seaport would save the company $460 million per year.
