Fraction, a multi-party computation (MPC) wallet startup, has raised $14 million in a Series A funding round led by Liberty City Ventures.
MPC is a cryptographic technique that allows multiple parties to jointly hold and operate on sensitive data without any one party being able to access the data in its entirety. This makes it a promising solution for securing the custody of digital assets, which is a major concern for banks and other traditional financial institutions that are looking to enter the crypto space.
