Twitter is testing new features that allow users to verify their NFT ownership and display their NFTs in their profile.
The head of Twitter's consumer product marketing department, Justin Taylor, posted a video on Twitter that shows how the new features will work.
In the video, Taylor shows that when a user clicks on "change photo" for their avatar, the "NFT" option will appear.
This option allows users to connect their digital wallets from Coinbase, MetaMask, or other sources.
Users can then choose the NFT they want to use as their profile picture.
After selecting an NFT, the profile picture will be converted into a blockchain verification mark that is used to authenticate the NFT.
In addition to verified NFT avatars, users will also be able to display other NFTs they own through a new "collection" menu option that is also being tested.
This feature will be located between "tweets & replies" and "media".
It is unclear when the new NFT verification and display features will be officially rolled out on Twitter.
