Dfinity claims that Meta's new logo is too similar to its own infinity logo, which was registered in the US in 2018. The company says that Meta's use of the infinity logo will cause confusion among consumers and damage Dfinity's brand.
In addition, Dfinity says that Meta is aware of the similarity between the two logos, but has continued to use the infinity logo anyway. The company says that this is intentional trademark infringement and that it is seeking damages from Meta.
