CryptoChicks, a nonprofit founded by the ex-wife of Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin, is hosting a hackathon in the Bahamas this August.
The hackathon is open to students and young developers between the ages of 7 and 25. It will focus on Ethereum smart contracts and business use cases.
CryptoChicks has held similar events in Pakistan and Toronto, and has received funding from companies like Microsoft, IBM, and the Royal Bank of Canada.
The group's goal is to get more women and youth involved in the cryptocurrency space.
"We want to provide women and youth with the maximum opportunity to make their own choices," said CryptoChicks co-founder Elena Sinelnikova.
