**Mark T. Williams, a professor of finance at Boston University,**
**reaffirmed his prediction that the price of bitcoin is grossly overvalued and will eventually collapse.**
**Williams said that while asset bubbles cannot be easily timed,**
**the dramatic swings in the price of bitcoin provide evidence that investors should be wary of making digital currency investments.**
**He added that he believes his prediction that bitcoin will decline in value by as much as 99% is more accurate than those made by the digital currency community.**
**Williams also criticized the bitcoin community for not doing enough to address the safety of the ecosystem in the wake of the Mt. Gox collapse.**
