A developer working for the top DEX floor on Ethereum, Uniswap, has rug pulled a memecoin created on layer-2 base.
The developer, Azflin, created a memecoin called Frens on layer-2 base and attracted a certain amount of interest. However, after only about 1h15p, the project was rug pulled - that is, all liquidity was withdrawn to Azflin's own wallet.
Azflin claimed that he only withdrew the token Frens that he spent money to buy and provide liquidity, so he had full authority with that token. However, Uniswap's founder, Hayden Adams, confirmed that Azflin was contacted with DEX floor and behind the wrong behavior, and declared no longer collaborating with this developer.
