Aeon's End Outcasts is a cooperative deck-building game for 1-4 players. Players take on the role of mages who must defend the city of Gravehold from the onslaught of the Aeon's End, a powerful force that threatens to destroy the world.
The game is played over a series of rounds, each of which consists of four phases: the player phase, the nemesis phase, the attack phase, and the cleanup phase. During the player phase, players draw cards, play cards, and use their actions to defend Gravehold and defeat the Aeon's End. During the nemesis phase, the Aeon's End takes its turn, attacking Gravehold and the players. During the attack phase, the Aeon's End attacks Gravehold, and players must use their cards to defend the city. During the cleanup phase, players discard cards, heal their mages, and prepare for the next round.
The game ends when either the players defeat the Aeon's End or when Gravehold is destroyed.
