Five new companies have joined the Hyperledger consortium, a group of firms working together to develop open-source blockchain technology.
The new members are:
* **Aesthetic Integration**, a verification firm
* **BLOCKO Inc**, an enterprise blockchain foundation
* **Hangzhou Fuzamei Technology**, a research exchange firm
* **PDX Technologies**, a decentralized platform provider
* **Zhejiang Shuqin Technology**, a data storage firm
The group of 85 companies is being led by the non-profit Linux Foundation, which helps manage the open-source contributions by the diverse members.
Hyperledger is one of 200 financial technology and banking exhibitors at this year’s Sibos conference hosted in Geneva by interbank platform provider Swift.
