**DCG Asks Court to Dismiss Chapter 11 Plan of Creditors of Genesis Trading**
Digital Currency Group (DCG) has asked a federal bankruptcy court to dismiss a proposed Chapter 11 plan put forward by creditors of its subsidiary Genesis Trading.
In a court filing on Tuesday, DCG said the request reflects the decision of some of the creditors to walk away from the prior agreement. These creditors have raised all new demands, DCG said.
DCG further said the latest move will prolong the court process.
Genesis, a cryptocurrency trading and lending platform, filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in February. The move came after the company was hit hard by the collapse of the cryptocurrency hedge fund Three Arrows Capital.
In February, a lawyer for Genesis said DCG intended to sell Genesis' crypto lending and trading platform as part of the bankruptcy proceedings.
