The world's largest cryptocurrency exchange has partnered with payments company Paysafe to allow users in the UK to deposit funds into their accounts.
The move comes after the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) said that it had "concerns" about Binance, but that it had "limited powers to object to arrangements of this kind."
Paysafe is aware of the FCA's concerns and is subject to close ongoing supervision, the FCA added.
A Binance spokesperson told CoinDesk that the exchange takes its compliance obligations "very seriously" and works proactively and collaboratively with regulators.
Binance's regulatory woes in the UK began last year when the FCA warned that the exchange was not authorized to operate in the country. Numerous regulators and financial institutions in other countries followed suit with similar warnings in the ensuing weeks and months.
