**Enterprise Ethereum Alliance welcomes 21 new members**
The Enterprise Ethereum Alliance (EEA) has announced the admission of 21 new members, including HP, KDDI, the University of New South Wales and the government of Andhra Pradesh.
The new members represent a wide range of industries, from blockchain startups to IT companies, financial institutions and universities.
HP joins the EEA as an active member, which means it will contribute to the development of Ethereum-based enterprise solutions. The company has already been working with R3 on blockchain solutions, and in August it conducted a proof-of-concept with some customers.
Markus Ogurek, Head of HPE's global industrial finance service, said:
"Joining EEA is an important step for HP Enterprise to prepare blockchain products for the enterprise and help accelerate the development process to meet customer needs."
